Obituary

Zbigniew Stanley Herc, 81 of Marlboro, passed away on February 17, 2023, at Bayshore Medical Center. He was born in Lublin, Poland on April 18, 1941. Stan moved to Marlboro six years ago after residing in Short Hills for over 40 years.  Stan was a graduate of St. Mary's High School Class of 1959, Fordham University Class of 1963 and New Jersey School of Medicine and Dentistry Class of 1967. He served in the US Army as a Captain during the Vietnam War. Stan was a retired Radiologist who worked at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ for over 25 years along with the Kessler Rehabilitation Centers throughout NJ. He was an avid Duke basketball fan, reader and a stained glass hobbyist.
Stan is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Barbara and her husband, David; Emily and her husband Matthew; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at 12:30 pm on Monday February 20, 2023, at the Barn Chapel in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, 654 Ferry Rd., Doylestown, PA. 18901. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery with a luncheon afterwards.
Memorial contributions in Stan's memory may be made to St. Gabriel's Parish in Marlboro, NJ or The Parkinson's Foundation (Parkinson's.org).
