Yvonne Elaine Anania, (nee Pellakis) 70 of East Brunswick, formerly of Perth Amboy, died Monday June 1, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in New York City, she lived for 51 years in Perth Amboy before moving to East Brunswick. She was a clerk with the United States Postal Service working in Edison, Cranbury, and Monroe before retiring in 2008. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her parents Katherine (nee Zaharioudakis) and Michael Pellakis, her sister Mary Pellakis and her cousin Theon Constantatos.

Yvonne is survived by her best friend and care giver Janet Pryga of New Jersey, her sister-in-law Jill Anania Tibak of Florida and cousins Anita Zaharioudakis Dowd of Arizona, Anise Zaharioudakis, Nicholas Zaharioudakis of New Jersey, Nicholas E. Zaharioudakis of California and Ann Pardalis of Michigan.

We will meet for a Divine Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday June 8, 2026 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. She will be laid to rest with her family in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
