Yolanda Colacino, 94, of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, passed away peacefully
in Youngstown, Ohio on February 16, 2026.

Born on June 21, 1931, in Tiriolo, Catanzaro, Italy to the late Saverio and
Francesca Gidaro. Yolanda grew up in her home country before moving to
the United States in 1948. Her family settled in Perth Amboy, NJ and Yolanda
resided there until moving to Ohio in 2025.

While living in Perth Amboy, Yolanda worked as a seamstress for Maidenform, Schott Brothers leather
factory and retired from Raritan Bay Medical Center (formerly known as Perth
Amboy General Hospital. She also enjoyed being an Avon sales consultant
for many years.

Yolanda is survived by her son, Domenico (Mary) Colacino, her beloved
grandchildren; Victoria Colacino, Nicholas (Adrienne) Colacino, Alexandra
(Ryan) Lacey, and great-granddaughter, Alivia Bridget Lacey. She is also
survived by her son, Saverio Tomas Colacino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Maria Verre,
Elizabetta Maruca, Domenico Gidaro, Giuseppe Gidaro, Mafalda Trupia, and Leonardo Gidaro.

Yolanda loved gardening. She always enjoyed using fresh vegetables in her
cooking. She also enjoyed sitting on her front porch and spending time with
her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4-7 pm at Flynn and
Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services
on Saturday will begin at 9:30 at the funeral home, followed by a procession
to Most Holy Rosary of Good Shepherd Parish in Hopelawn, NJ for a 10:00
AM Funeral Liturgy.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of The Most Holy
Rosary Cemetery, in Fords.
