Winifred Tyson, 92, of Perth Amboy, passed away at her daughter's residence in Easton, PA., on November 28, 2020. She was born in Bassterre, St. Kits, British Virgin Islands on June 6, 1928. Winifred was a Lunch Aide for the Perth Amboy Board of Education for 31 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy. Winifred was an avid Mets fan.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter James Tyson, in 1995.

Winifred is survived by six daughters: Sabrina Anderson, of Providence, RI; Elizabeth Cook, and her husband, Hamilton, of Edison; Christine Pasha, of Augusta, GA; Jacqueline Hall, of Easton, PA; Patricia Foster of Perth Amboy; and Cindy Kennedy of Rahway; a son, Peter James Tyson Jr., of Perth Amboy; fifteen grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and Winifred was the oldest of nine children.

Funeral Services were private and were entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
