Wilma Wiltrud Haffner of Hopelawn, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016, at JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by her beloved family. Born September 22, 1938, in Frankfurt, Germany, she immigrated to the United States in 1968. She married the love of her life, Ernest Frederich Haffner, and raised her family in Woodbridge.  Wilma was a Waitress at the Deutcher Club in Clark, NJ, for many years. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church in Perth Amboy until its closing.

Wilma was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, in 2006 and her infant daughter, Sylvia, who passed at birth. Surviving are her daughter, Christina Weber of Old Bridge; son, Dieter R. Haffner of Fayettesville, NC; three grandchildren: Erik, Christopher Adam and Christel; and brother, Waldermar Schultheiss of Frankfurt, Germany.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 9-11 AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Father Joseph Desmond will conduct the Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Cremation will be private following the service.
