William F. Rhodes' Obituary
William F. Rhodes, 81, of Fords, passed away on December 27, 2012, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. He was born on September 2, 1931, in Perth Amboy. Residing in Fords for the last fifteen years, he previously lived in Perth Amboy. He was an English teacher and tennis coach at Perth Amboy High School for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Winifred (O'Boyle) Rhodes in 2009.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Giacopasi and her husband John of Edison; Kelly Matera and her husband Chris of Pt. Pleasant; brother, Michael Rhodes of Woodbridge; sister, Donna Giordano of Collingswood; and four grandchildren: Caitlin and Devin Giacopasi, and Kylie and Michael Matera.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 pm with a service at 7:45 pm. Cremation will be private. Arrangements are by the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords NJ 08863.
