William Harvey's Obituary
William Harvey, 81, of South Amboy died January 1, 2011, at Briarwood Nursing Home.
Born in Perth Amboy, William resided in South Amboy for the last four years. Prior to his move to South Amboy, he lived in East Brunswick, spending most of
his life in Perth Amboy.
He retiered from Himont Plastics Factory in New Brunswick. He was a loyal Mets fan and a lover of animals. He was a Veteran of the
United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Elizabeth Harvey; late parents, Percy and
Henrietta Harvey; two late sisters: Julia Collins and Elizabeth Smith; late brother, Eugene "Sonny" Harvey; and late cat, Baby. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at 11:30 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 am. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
