Bill " Hynes
December 18, 1946 – November 15, 2022
Bill was the eldest of 7 children born and raised in Rockaway Beach, New York, to the late William Hynes and Luise Dieringer. Bill attended Queens College in New York, receiving a degree in Psychology. After marrying his sweetheart, Eileen, in 1974 they welcomed their firstborn daughter, Eileen Anne, in 1976. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Ohio, where Allison was born in 1979. In 1981 they relocated to Fords, New Jersey and completed their family with Matthew, born in 1982, and Kevin, in 1989.
Bill worked for Metalor Technologies for many years as a regional sales manager before his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, and playing darts, billiards and cornhole with many friends.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Eileen Mary Kilgallon Hynes; his four children: Eileen Anne Langon and her husband Sean, Allison Elizabeth Boyanovski and her husband Lior, Matthew William Hynes and his wife Amy, and Kevin Joseph Hynes; his brothers: Stephen Hynes and Michael Hynes; his sisters: Luise Conway, Christine Cook, Denise Leckie, and Diane Smith; his five beautiful grandchildren: Nate and Lily Langon, Keira Boyanovski, and Marnie and Dylan Hynes; along with many extended nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ . A funeral mass will be held the following day, Monday, November 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 620 Amboy Avenue, Edison . Family and friends are welcome to gather in the funeral home prior to mass for a final blessing at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum in Piscataway.
