William Belbey, 56, of Rahway, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on January 12, 2019. He was born on June 12, 1962 in Bloomfield.  He was an Industrial Mechanic Foreman for Durex Inc. William loved spending time with his family and going to his daughter's sporting events. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed cooking, home projects, music and going to concerts. He also liked to sit on his back porch with a cold beer.

William was predeceased by his niece, Lexi.

He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie and Christine Belbey, of Metuchen; companion, Alexandra Belbey, of Metuchen; father, Thomas Belbey Sr. of Woodland Park; mother, Katherine Belbey, of Riverhead, NY; brother, Thomas Belbey Jr., of Riverhead, NY; sister, Katherine Belbey, of Riverhead, NY; two nephews, T.J. and Matt Belbey and a niece Sam Belbey.

Memorial visitation will be on Thursday 6-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7 pm in the funeral home.
