Walter J. Meyers' Obituary
Walter J. Meyers, age 82 of Fords, died on Wednesday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Newark and had resided in Fords for the past 48 years.
Walter was a Salesman with Florsheim Shoes in Menlo Park Mall for many years retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Clara Barton American Legion Post #324 in Edison. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Julia A. Hasselwander Meyers, his sons, Walter Meyers of Phillipsburg and Gary J. Meyers of Fords and several nieces and nephews.
