Virginia "Honey" Santoro, 89, of Woodbridge, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Born in Perth Amboy to Peter and Anna Oleson, she was the oldest of two children. Honey worked for many years as an administrator for Verizon and enjoyed taking the train to her job in New York City. In 1974, she married the love of her life, Nicholas F. Santoro. A long-time parishioner of St. James RC Church in Woodbridge, Honey was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football and baseball. She was also an avid reader and tea lover.

Honey is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas (1994), her sister, Nancy Bosko and brother-in-law, Peter Bosko. She is survived by her nephew, George Germek and wife Pamela and their children, Julianna and Matthew, her nephew Branden Morecraft, and her dear friend, Karen Foley as well as her loving step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and many caring great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 19 ^th from 9:00am to 10:00am at Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am at St. James RC Church in Woodbridge, followed by entombment at St. James Cemetery in Hopelawn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Honey's memory to the American Cancer Society.
