Virginia Mary Lee Heintjes, 75, of Fords, entered into eternal rest April 30, 2018, at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.  She was born in Newark and was a long-time resident of Fords.  Virginia retired in 1998 as a Manager at AT&T in Piscataway after 25 years.

Virginia is survived by her children: Ginny Di Benedetto and her husband, Tom, of Sayreville; Joseph Heintjes and his wife, Barbara, of Fords; and Robert Heintjes and his wife, Sharon, of Edison; her grandchildren: Justin, Adam, Ashley, Alicia, Briana, and Robert; her brother, Robert Lee, and his wife, Kathy, of Broadview Heights, Ohio; and her longtime companion, Frank Baniel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Visitation is Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
