Obituary

Violet Dueker (nee: Salva), 87,
of Fords died December 31, 2010, at Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison.

Born in Fords, Violet was a life- long resident. She was a home-maker. Her contribution to the war effort during WWII was sewing parachutes for our country. She was a member of the Fords-Keasbey Citizens Club.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Gerhard, in 2000. Surviving family members include her two sons: Richard and his wife Victoria of Carteret,
Barry and his wife Joan of South Plainfield; two daughters: Janice and her husband Donald Anderson of Iselin, Nancy Schaffner of Tomstown, Ireland; seven grand-
children: Amy Levinson, Kristine Kostin, Melissa Jovic, Michael Dueker, Keith Dueker, Jamie Anderson, and Donald Anderson;
six great-grandchildren: Paige, Tyler, Maximillian, Emma, Madison,
and Raine; two sisters: Helen Brewer of Metuchen, and Dorothy Racz of Fords.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 5, 2011,
from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 4, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
