Vincenzo "Jimmy" A. Mobilio, 83, of Perth Amboy, passed away on December 8, 2013, at Haven Hospice at JFK Hospital. Born in Belleville, he resided in Perth Amboy for the last 47 years. Vincenzo worked at General Motors in Linden as an Assemblyman and was a member of the UAW Local 595 for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Vincenzo is predeceased by his brothers, Anthony, Dominick, Samuel, Joseph and his sister, Mary. Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Connie ( Pastore); his son, Vincent and his wife Karyn of Howell; his daughter, Joanne Tabori of Island Heights; grandchildren; Dr. Alexander Tabori, Lisa
Tabori-Bartlow, and Alyssa Mobilio; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Austin, and Emily. Also surviving are his brothers Pat and his wife Anne, George and his wife Susie and Frank; his sister, Philomena Furrule; and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 am on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords with a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia. Viewing will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
