Vincent R. Porcelli, 58, of Port Reading, passed suddenly but peacefully, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.

Born in Orange NJ, and formerly of Perth Amboy, he had resided in Port Reading for the last 28 years.

He was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the Class of 1983.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy.

He retired 8 years ago, after over 26 years as a Supervisor of Repair Technicians with Cablevision in Newark.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, William and Ilean Leighton; as well as his mother.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Ann Porcelli; his two beloved children, Vincent W. Porcelli and his wife Lindsey of Marietta, GA;   Shannon I. Porcelli of Port Reading, NJ; and his faithful companion "Chestnut".

He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Donato; his father, his 3 brothers, his 3 sisters, and his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
