Vida (Grum) Laurich of Metuchen, passed away at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Menlo Park on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was 104.

Vida is survived by her daughters: Linda and her husband, Ralph Borrello, Sharon Barker; grandchildren: Lisa and her husband David Freeman, Joseph Borrello and his wife Robyn, Tessa and her husband Patrick Power, Emma Ball; great grandchildren: Jack, DeAnna & Ava Freeman, Mia & Gianna Borrello and Braedan & Patrick Power; along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Laurich and siblings: Ignatz Grum, Frank Grum, Henry Grum, Agnes Warchol. Martha Cook and Emma Femc.

Family and friends may visit at Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, 9:30 am on Thursday September 18, and a funeral mass will follow at 10:15 am at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. Interment will take place at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia after the funeral.
