Victor John Ferrer of Perth Amboy passed away in his home on August 4, 2026. He was 54 years of age. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he has been in Perth Amboy since 1976. He was known for his “corny dad jokes” and was loved by many.

Victor was a big music lover, especially heavy metal. He played guitar, attended countless concerts, and was a host on the music podcast “Metal Bully and The Roach”. He always made sure his family was taken care of. He was a field service technician for Veolia North America working in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Victor is survived by his wife, Melissa (Magyar) Ferrer; children: Elaina Nieves, Victor Ferrer II, Alexander Ferrer, Emily Ferrer; parents: Ruth (Perez) and Victor M. Ferrer; brother, David Ferrer; sisters: Michelle Lentuer, Ana Ferrer; and many other family members. Alongside an abundance of close friends.

Family and friends may visit at Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, on Sunday, August 9, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a religious service at the conclusion of visiting hours.
