Veronica Fernandez Rabillas, 82, of Edison, NJ, passed peacefully, with the love of her family at her side, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at RWJ University Hospital , New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Naga Cebu, Philippines, she had immigrated to the US in 2012 settling in Edison, NJ.

She was a retired self employed Hair Stylist owning her own hair salon in Cebu City, Philippines at a very young age of 17.

She was a communicant of St. Matthew the Apostle RC Church in Edison and a fervent devotee of Santo Niño de Cebu.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband , Marciano S. Rabillas, and her beloved parents, Ignacio Bacayo Fernandez and Cecelia Abanggan Fernandez.

She leaves behind, her three beloved daughters, Donna Faye and her husband Ferdinand Mark Lorenzo, with whom she resided in Edison, Phoebe Mapa and her husband Alexander Jude, and Cenderella Patigayon and her husband Ritchie Jay in the Philippines, her 8 grandchildren- Scarlett Jade , Stanley Jude, Rhett Keiffer, Marko Sebastian, Cheska Rae , Liam Markus, Stephanie Jade, and Jaxson Kurt ,sisters, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 6 pm until 9 pm at the Flynn and Son /Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen NJ 08840.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. from the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison.

A private cremation will follow.
