Veressa Bunch 75, of Needham, AL, formerly of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Needham, AL residing in Perth Amboy for 60 years before returning to Needham 8 years ago.

She was a picker and packer with Consumer Distribution in Edison before retiring in 1988.

Veressa was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Needham.

She is survived by her children Marcella Hughes of Trenton, John Lewis of Perth Amboy, David Lewis of Goldsboro, NC, Dennis Lewis of Keansburg, and Dwayne Hughes of Perth Amboy, her siblings Marie Duncan of Perth Amboy, Edna Harrell of Edison, Elder James C. Nicholsen of Matawan, and Minister Bobby Nicholsen of Keyport, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 11 am at the Community Church of Christ 15 Montauge Avenue, Iselin. Interment will be in Shoreland Memorial Gardens in Hazlet. Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2013 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy and Tuesday 9 am to 11 am at the Church.
