Tyrone Johnson 53, of Newark, entered into eternal rest May 30, 2019 in Newark.  He was born in Toxey, AL, and was most recently living in Newark.

Tyrone worked at Whole Foods Distributors in Jersey City.

He was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Lee Nicholson and Rose Johnson, and his brother Freddy Johnson.  Tyrone is survived by his daughter Shakira Johnson of NC, his granddaughter Gionna Johnson, and his siblings Buddy, Michael, Tina, and Linda Johnson.

Visitation is on Wednesday from 10 am to 12 noon at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy. A prayer service will begin at noon.  Private cremation will follow.
