Tommaso Fazio Jr. 42 years old of Parlin died unexpectedly Friday, January 28, 2011, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Perth Amboy on February 20, 1968 to Tommaso and Rosa (Caroleo) Fazio, he graduated Perth Amboy High School and Lincoln Technical Institute. He was a HVAC Operating Engineer at Johnson Controls Inc. in Piscataway. Tom was beloved by all who knew him. Tom loved music, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Tom loved life. To know him was to love him.
Surviving are his wife Liza (Martinez) Fazio, son Daniel, daughter Rose both at home, parents Tommaso and Rosa Fazio of Perth Amboy, twin sister Cathy Balewitz and husband Anthony Jr. of South River, brother Frank Fazio and wife Jennifer of Easton, PA, nephews Nicholas and Joseph Fazio, Greg, Keith and Matthew Oppenheimer, brothers-in-law Ernest Oppenheimer and wife Cindy and David Oppenheimer and wife Julie, and beloved friend Diana Leone. Tommaso is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ. Funeral Service will begin Friday, February 4, 2011, at 9:00AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
