Thomas F. Walsh's Obituary
Thomas F. Walsh Jr. 72 of Fords, entered into eternal rest, February 5, 2012, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.
He was born in Jersey City and resided in Fords for the past 44 years. Thomas was a truck driver for 38 years before retiring in 1998. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords, and was an avid Jets Fan.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Naughton Walsh, to whom he was married for 51 years; his children: Susan E. Alfano and her husband Michael of Edison, Thomas F. and his wife Evamarie of Edison, Michael and Kevin of Fords; his four grandchildren: Amy, Kelly, Michael Jr., and Ella; and his four sisters: Mary Outwater of Red Bank, Anna Marie Sweeney and Theresa Cermak of Clifton, and Patricia Andrews of Mays Landing.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
