Thomas E Shannon, Jr. 62, of Edison, passed peacefully, with the love of his family at his side, on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the Haven Hospice Unit of the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Orange, NJ he has resided in Edison since 1961.

He was a graduate of J. P. Stevens High School, with the class of '76.

He had been employed as a Plant Manager with Ames Environmental and the former DeGussa Corp. of Piscataway, since the early 1990's.

Tommy leaves behind, his beloved mother, Joyce Shannon, his three devoted sisters, Kathy Mc Grath and her husband Jim of Edison, and Nancy Kryskowiak and her husband Michael, of Salisbury, MD, Trish Shannon and her husband, Michael Latham of Edison, and his dear nieces and nephews, Kelly, Jimmy, Dennis, Michael, Caitlin and Kevin, and grand-niece, Madison and grand-nephew, Noah.
