Obituary

Thomas George Mirdala 66 years old of Fords died  Friday March 17, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born October 4, 1950 in Perth Amboy he resided in Fords for 30 years. He was a chemical operator with Chemtura in Perth Amboy and later in his career became a Security Officer at the company. He was benevolent and generous with charity donations especially Veteran and Children's Charities. Surviving are his wife of 45 years Pauline (Larsen) Mirdala, sons Derek Mirdala and wife Heidi, Daniel Mirdala and wife Jennifer, David Mirdala and wife Lauren, grandchildren Drew, Gwendolyn, Will, Aaron, Matthew and Nicholas, sister Gina Moy, also many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting will be on Monday March 20, 2017 from 4-8PM at Flynn and Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ. Tuesday March 21, 2017 10:00AM Prayer Service at funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Church. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Foundation.
