Thomas James Maloney, 78, died on August 25, 2012 at Bey Lea Village Care Center, Toms River. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ . Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM funeral liturgy at Good Shepherd Parish at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn., cremation will be private.
Thomas was born in Newark, and resided in Pine Beach for the last 6 months, prior years he resided in Edison, South Amboy and Woodbridge. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Thomas was a self employed plumber.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anna ( McCrea) and a son, Mark of Pine Beach. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
