Thomas A. Dischler 69 of Fords, entered into eternal rest, March 18, 2016, at his home. He was born in Jersey City and has resided in Fords for the past 19 years.

Tom was a 100% disabled veteran of the Vietnam War, 1966-1968, suffering with PTSD. He served two tours in the Army with the 82nd Air Bourne and was a Purple Heart recipient.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church and a member of the DAV.

Tom is survived by his wife Julia A. Binaski Dischler, his daughter Stephanie Tornatore and her husband Thomas of Edison and their children Daniela and Michael. He is also survived by three brothers, Frank, James, and Paul.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R C Church. Interment will be in NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
