Theresa Lapczynski, 93, of Moosic, PA, formerly of Fords, passed away peacefully at Abington Manor on Sunday, January 16, 2022.She enjoyed her time raising eight children before returning to the work force at Garden State Shipping in Keasbey, NJ. She had a love for crocheting, gardening and cooking; poppy seed rolls were her favorite. Theresa loved old fashion western movies, her favorite was "Gun Smoke"; she was a huge fan of "The Price is Right" and most importantly Bob Barker. She was an amazing woman!

She was born in Ebensburg, PA on July 23, 1928 to her loving parents, Peter Illig and Mildred (nee. Rudolph).

Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Frank Lapczynski; her two sisters, Geraldine and Bernice; her brother, Peter; and son-in-law, Frank A. Cossentino.

She is survived by her eight children, Charlotte, Lucy, Rita, Nancy, John, James, Mark, and Patricia; two sons-in-law, Ben and Chuck; two daughters-in-law, Michele and Renee; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. The Funeral Service will be Monday, January 24, 2022, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.

Theresa's family will be having a Celebration of Life around her birthday in July; details to follow at a later date.
