Theresa A. Brana, 92, of Fords, passed away on September 10, 2024 at home. She was born in New York on January 3, 1932. Theresa was a Dietary Consultant at JFK Medical Center. She enjoyed bingo, dancing, gardening and cooking.  She was particularly proud of her fig tree.

Theresa was predeceased by a son, Mario Brana.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Brana, of Fords, and Vera Sonnenberg, of Pahrump, NV; a son, George Brana, of Skillman; six grandchildren: Jacqueline, Tyler, Gianna, Anthony, Jason, and Michael; eleven great-grandchildren: Sean, Danielle, Damon, Jazzy, Junior, Ryan, Sienna, Andrew, Lillian, Archer, and Colt; a brother, Vincent Vives, of Linden; and a sister, Frances Vives, of Basking Ridge.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 10 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
