Theresa Binko, age 80 of Menlo Park Terrace, died on Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was born in New York City and resided in the Bronx and Manhattan before moving to Menlo Park Terrace in 1972.
Theresa was a Sales Associate at Rickels of Menlo Park in Edison for more than 15 years before retiring in 1991. During the late 60's early 70's she had been employed by New York University as a hostess in the faculty lounge, and in the 50's and early 60's she worked at St. Lukes Hospital and Columbia University as a clerk.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Laura Binko who died in 2000, her brothers, Peter and Tony Pane and her sister, Mary Quinone.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, John T. Binko, her son, John A. Binko, of Morganville, her two grandchildren, John P. Binko of Morganville and Christine Binko who is currently attending Boston University and her brother, Joseph Pane of New York City.
