Theresa "Terri" Barbara Jean Hertz, 58, of Morganville, passed suddenly, but peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her home.

Born in Rahway and formerly of Cranford, for over 20 years, she had resided in Morganville for the last 5 years.

She was a graduate of Rahway High School, with the "Class of '77".

Terri was a successful, self-employed, real estate landlady, and was an avid beach goer, being especially fond of Seaside Park and the Jersey Shore. Her family and especially her cherished grandchildren, were the light of her life. She was their biggest fan, supporting them in all of their athletic activities by attending every gymnastics competition and basketball game possible.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Albert and Dorothy Spotts;and her dear brothers and sisters: John Wicks, Jerry Spotts, Donna Robinson and Eileen Bradham.

Terri leaves behind her three beloved children: Christoper M. Hertz of Rhode Island; Angelina T. Crue and her husband, Frank, with whom she resided; and Jeffry S. Hertz and his companion, Megan McGee, of Rahway; her three dear grandchildren: David, Joseph and Ryan; her beloved brother, David Spotts and his wife, Colleen, of Scotch Plains; and her devoted sisters, Audrey Bradham and Carol Spotts, both of Tennessee; her sister-in-law, Sue Wicks; and her "baby" Emma, her beloved and faithful cat.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 2 – 4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords, with cremation to follow privately.
