Theodore T. Kavendek, 64, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Alameda Care Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy, Ted lived in Sayreville, and Perth Amboy most of his life. He was a stage-hand for Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank. Ted also enjoyed painting and playing the guitar. He attended Sayreville High School and The New School of Social Research.

Ted was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Helen Kavendek, and his brother Thomas Kavendek.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 9 AM at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor. Inurnment of his cremated remains will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, South Amboy.
