Theodore P. Fijol, 88, of Fords, passed peacefully at his home, with his family at his side, on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he has resided in Fords for the last 21 years.

He proudly served his country in the U.S Army, during the Korean War.

He was a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service, in Brooklyn, NY, for 32 years, before retiring in 1995.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords, and was a member of the Fords Seniors

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Vivian Fijol who died in 2011.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Thomas J. Fijol and his wife Kathleen, of Fords, his two beloved  daughters; Diane Roman and her husband Johnny, of Huber Heights, OH, and Barbara Fijol, with whom he resided, and his 3 dear grandchildren, John, Ryan and Krista.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, private funeral services are entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

He will be laid to rest with his wife Vivian at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Haven Hospice at JF K Medical Center, 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08820.
