Theodore Christopher, 74, of Fords, entered into eternal rest July 11, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway.  He was born in Bayonne, and had resided in Fords for the past 45 years.  Ted proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He served in the 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg, NC, from 1961 to 1964.  He worked in Ramp Service with TWA Airlines at Newark Airport for 35 years before retiring in 2008.

Ted was predeceased by his parents, Nellie and Theodore Christopher and his step father Tony Hunchak.

He is survived by Margaret Jantas Christopher, his wife of 52 years; his sons, Gregg"o" and his wife, Judy, and Bob and his wife, Joy; and his granddaughters, Allison and Emily Christopher and Stacie Petrick.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Diabetes Association, the Leukemia Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
