Thelma Cacciola (nee: Anderson), 97, of Edison, passed away on April 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Eau Claire, WI and resided in Edison since 1941.

Thelma was a Registered Nurse at the GM plant in Linden for 5 years, retiring in 1946 and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords.

She is predeceased by her husband, Nazareth in 2004, her sister, Lillian Jenssen, and her brother, Henry Anderson. Surviving is her daughter, Toni Knox and her husband Peter of Edison, her grandchildren, Peter John and Anthony, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, 10 AM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. with a 10:30 AM service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords. Interment will follow at CloverLeafMemorial Park, Woodbridge. Viewing will be Monday, 6-9 PM.
