Teresa Russo (nee: Blumetti), 90, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born in San Paolo Albanese, Italy, she immigrated to Jersey City at age 7. Teresa resided in Edison for 42 years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a deeply religious woman, a parishioner at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia, for over 40 years and a member of the Columbiettes at St. Joseph's Church, Carteret.

Teresa was predeceased by her loving husband, James, in 1999 and her sister, Madeline Lombardi. Surviving are her devoted children: Ralph and his wife Susan of Atherton, CA; Joseph and his wife Roseanne of Metuchen; Teresa of Edison; her precious grandchildren: Joseph, Tina, Jessica, Richard and his wife Jennifer; her loving sister, Catherine Colacurcio; and many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Teresa was devoted to the family she joined through her husband, James, and loved by her friends and all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held 9:45 AM, Monday, February 4, 2013, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, with a Funeral Liturgy held at 10:30 AM at St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia. Viewing will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
