Obituary of Tara S. DeSantis


Tara Shane (Rapach) DeSantis, 48, of Keansburg, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at her home. Tara was born in Edison and has lived in Keansburg for the last thirty years.

She was employed as an office assistant for Advance Digestive Center in Metuchen for over twenty years.

She was predeceased by her father Kenneth Ronald Rapach and also by her step-father Donald Davis Jr..

Surviving are her loving husband of twenty-seven years, William J. DeSantis, her son: Christopher V. DeSantis of Keansburg, her two daughters: Alissa Scott of Keansburg, and Ashley Flannigan and husband Michael of also Keansburg, her mother Audrey Kunie Davis of Fords, brother: Kenneth Rapach of East Brunswick, sister: Tracey Herman of Cottage Grove, MN, one granddaughter and one grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday evening 6:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation services will follow. Visitation hours will be held Saturday from 3 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
