Suzanne Wales, (nee Strand) 45, of Edison, passed away on December 9, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. She was born in Rahway on April 3, 1968 and lived most of her life in Edison. She was a graduate of J.P. Stevens High School. Suzanne was a Homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. She was the Co-President of the Edison High School Football Parents Association.

She was predeceased by her father, William Strand.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Edward Wales, of Edison; three sons: Nicholas, Thomas, and Michael Wales of Edison; mother, Johanna Heaton and her husband, Thomas, of Edison; brother, James Heaton of Edison; uncles Frank O'Brien of NC and Michael O'Brian and his wife, Nancy, of NC; and many other aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Friday, December 13 at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
