Steven Michael Kaschak, "Kaz", age 68, passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday February 24, 2017 in his home in Fords, NJ.

He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Kaschak of Perth Amboy, NJ.  He is survived by his sister, Judy Doerr and her husband of Upper Black Eddy, PA, his two loving sons and loving daughter Natalie, and his two grandchildren Reily and Brody.

Steve enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, body surfing, and adolescent boating with his friends.  Steve was a dedicated, hardworking man who gave everything for his love of family.

"Even though you are far away, you are always close in our thoughts, our hearts and our lives every day.  We love you and will miss you so much."

Visitation will be on Tuesday February 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen.
