Steven Davidoff, 68, of South Amboy passed away on January 26, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and formerly of Edison, he resided in South Amboy for the past 7 ½ years. He was a foreign exchange broker with Intercontinental Exchange and Noonan, Astley & Pearce. He graduated from Boston University in 1967 with a BS in Finance, was an Army reservist, substitute teacher in Edison, and a member of Beth Mordecai. He enjoyed playing tennis and adored his grandchildren.
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Beulah and Arthur Davidoff. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 1/2 years, Marilyn (Goldstein) Davidoff; his sons Kenneth (wife Sarah) of New York City and Michael (wife Amy) of Carmel, Indiana; his three grandchildren Jonathan, Benjamin, and Blake Davidoff; and his sister Judi Ascher of Hazlet.
Funeral services will held on Thursday,January 29, 2015, at 11:00 am at Temple Beth Mordecai in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Beth Israel Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Services have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Homes, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.
Shiva will be observed on Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the family's residence in South Amboy. Shiva then will follow on Saturday from 6-9 pm and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Kenneth and Sarah's residence in Manhattan.
