Steve Rader, 97, of Perth Amboy, passed away on December 20, 2020 at Care One in Edison. He was born in Hopelawn on October 15, 1923, to John and Anna (nee Yelenock) Rader. Steve was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy.  He was a Line Worker for Home Rubber in Trenton. He also worked for Rader's Tavern in Hopelawn and Rader's Florest in Perth Amboy. He was a member of the Olive Street Community Center in Perth Amboy.  Steve won many awards playing pool. He enjoyed playing dominos and horse racing. His favorite saying was "How's everybody?"

He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Pap, in 1976; five brothers: Joseph, Peter, John, Michael and George; five sisters: Anna Ballo, Helen Rader, Mary Toth, Kay Garble and Eva Stumpf.

Steve is survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
