Steve Bognar 79, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, October 6, 2016 at Alameda Care Center in Perth Amboy.  He was born in Budapest, Hungary and has resided in Perth Amboy for the past 43 years.

He worked as a pipefitter at Carborundum in Keasbey for 10 years, before retiring in 1987.  He had previously worked at US Metal in Carteret for 20 years.

Steve was predeceased by his daughter Gayle Marie Bognar-Stark in 1991 and his grandson Hyland Stark in 1997.   He is survived by his children Brigitte M. Rucker of Perth Amboy, Laurie A. Sciocchetti of Deerfield Beach, Fl, John Doroba Bognar of Hamilton, David Steven Bognar and Justin Jamie Bognar of Perth Amboy, his separated wife Loretta Ann Bognar of Perth Amboy, eleven grandchildren and his niece Maroti Gyorgyno of Hungary.

Visitation will be on Monday from 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, with a service during the visitation.  In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Brigitte for funeral expenses.
