Stephen J Mehes' Obituary
Stephen J. Mehes, 62, of Blakeslee,
PA,
passed peacefully at home on June 19, 2020 surrounded by loved family.
Born in Perth Amboy, he was formerly of Woodbridge Township for 60 years before moving to Blakeslee, PA
,
two years ago.
In 2016, he entered retirement after over 28 years as a Sewer Equipment Operator for Woodbridge Township. He was an avid fisherman and great fan of Nascar who enjoyed going to races with those close to him.
He was predeceased by his parents; Stephen G. and Jane Mehes.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Victoria (nee: Muia) Mehes, his two beloved children; Stephen and Gianna Mehes, and his dear sister, Joann Toth of Edison, as well as many nieces and nephews, a great niece and a great nephew.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 8:30 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Port Reading. Cremation will follow privately.
