Stephen R. Halo's Obituary
Stephen R. Halo, 76, of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Stephen was born in Newark and resided in the Edison/Metuchen area for more than 45 years. He served in the Army during peace time and then went to work as a Sales Representative in the jewelry industry before retiring. He was an avid Jazz fan and an accomplished pianist. He was also a semi-pro tennis player. He had a great sense of humor and was a very creative jewelry designer.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Ruth Walters Halo; his children, Karen Halo of Edison and Stephen R. Halo, III, of NYC; and his sister, Cynthia Kaiser Haidri of Mendham.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. Visitation is on Friday, January 27, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
