Stephen M. Fishinger, Sr., 96, of Millsboro DE, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

Born in Woodbridge, he had resided in Millsboro, DE since 2007.

A World War II Army veteran, he retired in 1989 from J & V Construction in Perth Amboy.

He was a Life Member of VFW Post 4410 in Woodbridge.

Stephen is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Angelina Cholar Fishinger (1987) and his daughter, Catherine Falzarano (1996).

He leaves behind, two daughters, Jo-Ann Drennan and her husband, John, of Millsboro, DE, and Cynthia Fee of Helmetta, three sons, Stephen Fishinger, Jr. and his wife Linda, of Edison, James Fishinger and his wife Laurie, of Millsboro, DE and Daniel and his wife Joann, of Old Bridge, seven grandchildren, Danielle, Brittney, Alexis, T. J. , Matthew, Ian and Jamie. Also surviving are his "adopted" grandchildren; Leianna, and Michael Zuckerman. Special friend, Eva Zuckerman and his caregiver and buddy, Delphine Blake.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 6pm - 9 pm, at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Flynn and son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Iselin.
In lieu of flowers, "Our dad's wishes would be, for you to visit a casino, the racetrack or play the lottery in his memory."
