Princess Stella Unoma Oduyela (nee Obi), 54, of Perth Amboy, NJ passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at her side, on Monday, January 13, 2020, at RWJ Rahway, NJ.

Born in Kano, Nigeria; she formerly resided in Lagos, Nigeria and Fords, NJ and resided in Perth Amboy, NJ since 2001.

She attended high school at the Federal Government College Lagos (Ijanikin). She received her bachelor's degree in Accounting at the State University of New York, College at Old Westbury, NY.

She was an Accountant for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Piscataway, NJ for 24 years and was eventually elevated to the position of IEEE Controller. During her tenure as the Controller, she served as the Assistant Treasurer of the IEEE Foundation.

In 2002, she joined the Fountain of the Living Word Church, formerly Orange Foursquare Church, in East Orange, NJ, where she became the Church Administrator. She also dedicated her time training new church planters in administrative work for the North East District of the Foursquare Church. In 2012, she became a licensed Pastor at the Fountain of the Living Word Church.

She was a member of the Federal Government College Lagos North America Alumni Association (FGCLNAA), where she served as Treasurer from 2008 to 2010.

Stella was predeceased by her beloved parents, Igwe Joseph and Esther Obi, and her siblings Mr. Sunny Obi and Mrs. Josephine Anagbogu.

She leaves behind, her beloved husband, Gori; her three children, Megan, Caitlin and Joseph; and her three siblings, Okey Obi, Senator Benjamin Obi, and Helen Obi-Okereke.

Service of Songs will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Fountain of Living Church (FTLW), 30 Morton Place, East Orange, NJ from 7:30 pm to - 9 pm.
