Stanley W. "Bill" Cichocki, 83, of Perth Amboy died Friday December 3, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
Born November 23, 1927 in Bayonne, he resided in Perth Amboy for the past 53 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired from American Can Co. in Jersey City after 30 years of service. After his retirement he worked at the Bakery Department of the A&P in Woodbridge and Coca Cola in Hightstown. He was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church. Bill was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed his beloved grandchildren. He loved gardening, reading, music, and storytelling. He will be missed by many.
He was predeceased by a brother and 4 sisters and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lucille (Burns) Cichocki; sons William Cichocki of Perth Amboy, Michael Cichocki and wife Lynn of Fords, Craig Cichocki and wife Jennifer of Scotch Plains; daughter LuAnne Dillman and husband Gerard of Fords; grandchildren: Jessica, Dana, Ryan, and Aidan; niece Dolores Campbell of Bayonne; sister-in-law Jean Cichocki and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Monday, December 6, 2010, at 8:30 am from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. Funeral Liturgy will begin at 9:00 am at Holy Spirit Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours on Sunday are from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
