Stanley R. Aleski 84 of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest, Sunday May 27, 2012 at the J F K Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Metuchen for the past 54 years. Stanley was a draftsman with Croll-Reynolds, in Westfield, for 45 years before retiring in 2000. He was a Communicant at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen, and a die hard Giants and Yankee's fan.
Stanley is survived by his wife Ann Marie Hasek Aleski, to whom he was married for 54 years. He is also survived by his daughters Caroline Swetz and her husband Steven of Hillsboro, and Constance Harbison and her husband Timothy of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren Kate, Carly, Alexa, Michael, Holden, Emma, and Ashton, and his siblings Irene Matt of Parlin, Richard Aleski of Forked River, and Sigmund Aleski of Rockland, MA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 9:45 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen followed by a 10:15 am funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum in Piscataway. Visitation is Thursday 8 to 9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the N.J. Sharing network Foundation.
