Spencer T. Van Pelt, 34, of Edison died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at his home.

He was a life-long resident of the township, a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords, and was currently attending Middlesex County College in Edison. Spencer was an avid NY Mets, NJ Devils, and Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He was formerly employed as a Custodian at Edison High School, with the Edison Township Board of Education.

Spencer leaves behind his beloved parents, William and Joan Van Pelt of Edison; his dear brother, Tyler Van Pelt and his wife, Bernadette; and his loving sister, Merritt Van Pelt-Holmes and her husband Darren of Ambler, PA. Spencer will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords.
Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge .
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 22, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
