Sophie Andersch, 97, of Fords, NJ, passed away peacefully at the Heritage at Clara  Barton on December 2, 2016. She was born June 18, 1919, in Perth Amboy . Sophie was a retired employee at Johnson and Johnson after 30 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and a member of the Fords- Keasby Senior Citizens.

Sophie was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Andersch, and daughter, Barbara Jugan.

She is survived by a daughter, Laraine and son in law Art Church, of Tamarac, FL, four grandchildren: Lisa Jugan, Robert Jugan, Lori Varga, and Suzanne Perna; eight great-grandchildren, Kristyn, Kevin, Hunter, Kaysie, Cameron, Carson, Robert and Kathryn.  She is also survived by three nieces, Margie Dugasz, Loretta Dwyer and Laverne Nordstrom.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 on Tuesday 9-10 am. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery in Hopelawn.
