She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and was formerly of, NY
City,
Cincinnati, OH,
and Parlin, NJ,
she has resided in Perth Amboy for years.
She was the receptionist for Dr. Nancy Allegar at Alatae Medical, LLC in Hillsborough.
Prior to that, she had been employed for 10 years, as the secretary to the district manager of Gibson Greetings in East Orange
, NJ
and Cincinnati, OH.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of
Fatima Church
,
Perth Amboy and enjoyed crocheting
, reading books
and shopping, especially for her grandchildren, whom she adored.
She is predeceased by her beloved children; Gloria Santiago (1968) and Everette M
a
rrero (1997) her grandson, Joshua
Santiago
(1992) and her sister, Maria Teresa Rodriguez.
Sonia leaves behind, her beloved husband of 26 years,

her 3 sons; Milton
